VOICEMAIL:


TO ACTIVATE VOICEMAIL

  • To enable Voice mail, dial 101 and wait for the confirmation.

TO DE-ACTIVATE VOICEMAIL

  • To Disable Voice mail, dial 102 and wait for the confirmation.

TO LISTEN TO VOICEMAIL MESSAGES

  • To listen to Voice mail, dial 103 and wait for the confirmation.
    • Press 2 for New messages
    • Press 7 to Delete messages
    • Press 4 to retrieve old messages
    • Press 5 to repeat message.

Note: Messages will be stored for a period of 14 days from the time of recording after which time they will be automatically deleted.

CALLER ID:


BLOCK CALLER ID FOR A SPECIFIC NUMBER

  • This will block caller ID for a single phone call. When using this feature your phone number will not be visible to the person you are calling for that call only. Dial the following number, followed by the phone number you wish to call:
    • 1831 [a valid phone number]

BLOCK CALLER ID FOR ALL NUMBERS

  • This will block caller ID for any number you call in the future. Once activated, when you make a call your phone number will not be visible to the person you are calling.
    • 1834 - Once dialed, please wait and listen to the voice confirmation.

ENABLE CALLER ID FOR ALL NUMBERS

  • This will enable caller ID for any number you call in the future. Once activated, when you make a call your phone number will be visible to the person you are calling.
    • 1835 - Once dialed, please wait and listen to the voice confirmation.

CALL WAITING:


ACTIVATING THE CALL WAITING FEATURE

  • To let you know when you have a second caller trying to reach you, enter the following key sequence on your home telephone handset:
    • * 4 3 *
  • You will hear an announcement saying ‘Call Waiting Activated
    • Your phone will give a short beep if there is another caller trying to reach you.
    • Review the telephone handset manual for the method of switching between the 2 callers.
    • The handset ‘HOLD’ key simply puts the current call on hold. It does not usually allow you to switch between callers in the call waiting situation.

TO DEACTIVATE THE CALL WAITING FEATURE

  • To deactive the call waiting feature, enter the following key sequence on your home telephone handset:
    • * 4 4 *
  • You will hear an announcement saying ‘Call Waiting Deactivated’
  • Your phone will not know when a second caller is trying to reach you.
  • The second caller will hear the usual engaged tone as you are already on a call

CALL FORWARD:


ACTIVATING THE CALL FORWARD FEATURE

  • To forward all calls to your mobile or another land line, enter the following key sequence on your home telephone handset:
    • * 2 1 * [a valid phone number]
  • You will hear an announcement saying ‘Call Forward Activated’
    • Your phone will no longer ring when a call comes in.
    • All incoming calls will now go to the phone number you have selected – your mobile, a friend or neighbour’s home etc.
    • Callers will be charged their usual call costs to your home, you will incur the call costs to the number you have selected.

DE-ACTIVATE THE CALL FORWARD FEATURE

  • To deactive the call forward feature, enter the following key sequence on your home telephone handset:
    • * 2 2 *
  • You will hear an announcement saying ‘Call Forward Deactivated
    • Your phone will now ring as usual when a call comes in.
