Should we suggest that you take steps to verify the electrical integrity, we do so on the basis that you may be either at risk of damaging electrical/electronic appliances within your residence or damaging the network termination unit – for which you are responsible. HOW CAN FUZEconnect HELP?
FUZEconnect have a battery backup unit available for the network termination unit. The aim of this device is to maintain power to the unit in the event of an interruption to the mains power supply. Depending upon the type of telephone handset that you have in your house, you may be able to make phone calls during an electrical blackout. The battery backup unit may also have the effect of ‘filtering’ or ‘stabilising’ the mains voltage to the network termination unit, to some degree.
