BATTERY BACKUP UNIT: INFORMATION AND PRICING
The battery backup unit provides continuity of telephone services (and optionally Internet services) in the event of an interruption in the mains power supply. The unit contains a small battery that keeps the FUZEconnect ‘network box’ on the side of your home powered up.
In the event the power supply to your home fluctuates you may experience interruptions to FUZEconnect services. The battery backup unit may help in reducing service interruptions by regulating the power supply to the FUZEconnect network box.

NOTES:
- For telephone services to remain uninterrupted during a power outage you will require an analogue telephone handset that does not require mains power.
- Internet services are not maintained by default in the event of a blackout.
- The above charge will appear on your bill and by submitting this form you agree to pay this charge.
- The battery backup unit must be installed in the garage, adjacent to a mains power outlet and will require wiring to be routed to the network termination device.
